Research achievements and honors:

    He is mainly engaged in the research of artificial intelligence, computer vision and image processing. In the past five years, he has presided over and participated in more than 30 vertical research projects, including 4 projects of National Natural Science Foundation, 1 project of national key R & D plan, 1 joint fund of General Equipment Department of the Ministry of education, 1 sub project of 973 sub project, 1 sub project of key project of National Natural Science Foundation of China, and National Postdoctoral One science fund and two natural science funds of Hubei Province. He has published one book and published more than 100 SCI papers. The papers have been cited 5012 times (Google Scholar, h-index = 34), SCI cited 1117 times, ESI highly cited 11 papers and ESI hot papers 6. 20 national invention patents have been applied for / approved, including 12 authorized and 2 transferred. He was awarded "2015 ACM Wuhan Rising Star Award" of international computer society, and was selected into "National Postdoctoral special funding program" and "Wuhan Chenguang young science and technology talent plan". He won the outstanding Paper Award (CCF class a) of ijcai2018 of Artificial Intelligence Summit; the best paper award of IEEE icdm2018 (CCF class B) of data mining Summit; the best paper award of IEEE whipers2018 of high-dimensional image signal processing Summit; the champion of 2018 IEEE global data fusion competition; and the champion of 2018 global nuclear magnetic resonance medical image prostate segmentation competition.
