   Gao Ge, whose main research interests are audio signal coding and processing, multimedia network communication, etc. The main research topics and achievements involve audio watermarking, audio signal coding and processing, computer music synthesis, wireless network access and routing.

Projects presided over and participated in:

   In 2003, he undertook the general project "Research on packet voice transmission based on embedded encoder" of NSFC; in 2004, he undertook the research on "digital video and audio coding, transmission, test and application demonstration - audio coding algorithm framework and key technologies" of 863 Program; from 2006 to 2008, he assisted Professor Hu Ruimin, director of the engineering center, in charge of the formulation of AVS audio standard Huawei's cooperation projects "3G mobile audio key algorithm research" and "ITU g.729ev-swb core algorithm research", the proposed mobile audio coding framework has become the coding framework of AVS P10 standard. Five technical proposals, including open-loop pitch search, adaptive codebook excitation search and bandwidth expansion, have been approved by AVS Since 2008, as the main participant, he has undertaken the key project "basic theory and key technology of mobile audio codec" of NSFC In 2010, he participated in the research work of "analysis and application of binaural cues perception characteristics based on parameter domain" project of Natural Science Foundation of Hubei Province; in 2012, he undertook the national science and technology major project "research and development of new mobile multimedia audio and video coding and decoding key technology" and "wireless intelligent vehicle service system and wireless intelligent vehicle service system" In 2015, he undertook the research on "research and development of 3D audio clustering and group compression technology based on spatial correlation" of the general project of National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published more than 30 papers in ICME, icassp, ICC and other important journals at home and abroad, and applied for 20 national invention patents.
